A score tells you how you did. Analytics tell you what to fix.

Finishing a free mock with “31/50” and no other information is almost useless for studying. CCAT Guru breaks every run down so your next session targets the section that's actually costing you points.

Per-topic accuracy

See your hit rate across verbal, math & logic, and spatial reasoning so you stop re-studying what you've already mastered.

Time-per-question

Find the question types that quietly eat your clock. On a 15-minute test, a slow section costs you points everywhere else.

How to beat the CCAT clock

Budget ~18 seconds per question, and mean it

50 questions in 15 minutes is roughly 18 seconds each. The test is designed so almost no one finishes — your job is not to answer all 50, it is to answer as many as you can correctly. Glance at a question; if you don't see a path within a few seconds, mark a best guess and move on.

Never leave a question blank

There is no penalty for wrong answers, so a blank is strictly worse than a guess. In the last 30 seconds, fill every remaining bubble. A random guess on a 4-option item is still a ~25% chance of a free point.

Triage by type, not by order

Verbal analogies and antonyms are usually fast; multi-step word problems and number series are slow. If a question is going to cost you 45 seconds, that's nearly three questions of time. Skip the time-sinks early and bank the easy points first.

Practice mental math without a calculator

No calculator is allowed. Drill percentages, fraction-to-decimal conversions, and ratio shortcuts until they're automatic. The questions aren't hard arithmetic — they're hard arithmetic under a stopwatch.

Why the CCAT feels harder than it is

The CCAT feels brutal because it's meant to. The 18-seconds-per-question pace triggers the same stress response as any timed exam, and most people walk out certain they bombed it — then score in a perfectly normal range. The fix for test anxiety isn't positive thinking, it's exposure: take enough timed full-length runs that the clock stops being a surprise. That's exactly what a free, no-signup diagnostic is for.

Taking the CCAT for a specific employer?

The format is the same everywhere, but where the test sits in the process — and how high the bar runs — varies by company. We've written honest, employer-specific guides:

Frequently asked questions

Is this CCAT practice test really free?

Yes. You can take a full-length timed practice test with no payment and no signup required, and see your score and per-topic breakdown immediately.

How many questions is the CCAT and how long do I get?

The full CCAT is 50 questions in 15 minutes — about 18 seconds per question. Our full-length mock mirrors that format.

What's the difference between this and other free CCAT tests?

Most free mocks give you a single score. We add per-topic accuracy and time-per-question analytics, so you know whether you're losing points to difficulty or to the clock — and exactly which section to drill next.

Are these real CCAT questions?

No. We use only original practice questions written to match the CCAT's format and difficulty. We never reproduce real or copyrighted Criteria Corp test items.
